Episode 133: Leveraging Multifamily Mentors to Short-Cut Success – Chihiro Kurokawa

Chihiro Kurokawa started multifamily investing in 2017 and has been a principal in four multifamily transactions totaling 479 units and $28.9 million in purchase volume. He has also invested as a limited partner in mobile home parks, development, multifamily, retail and self-storage. He was previously an analytics professional and holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson. He is training to qualify for the Boston Marathon and enjoys alpine skiing. 

In this episode Chihiro talks about leveraging the power of relationships and mentorship to enter the multifamily space and manage his first syndication deal in 2019 for a 128 unit property. He also talks about cash flow as a syndicator or primary sponsor and the experience of quitting your W2 job.
